Fall 2008

We had a great end to the summer. Finn did a lot of camping and he was a trooper, a natural, one might say, which is a good thing for our family. This has been a fun fall so far. We spent sometime in Lake Tahoe with the Goss' in September though Finn and Alex both got the stomach flu. Finn now has four teeth. He continues to be so much fun. He is mostly sleeping through the night and is eating solid foods. He changed daycare centers in September and he and we love the new place. The people are wonderful and Finn loves all of the structures to explore and activities they provide.
Finn enjoyed all the pumpkins and playing in the dirt.

Kitchen remodel - almost done
So these are pictures of our new kitchen. We are almost completely done with the cabinets, we just have a heck of a lot of priming and painting to do. As you can see, we have already made it a mess! But we absolutely love it. The subway tile is one of my favorite parts.
These are the concrete countertops and my new windown and sink. I love having the extra window and the huge sink.

Six Months
While we can't believe it, Finn is now over six months old. He weighs over 15 pounds and is wearing all six month and bigger clothes. We just moved to the next size in shoes. These are some exciting things. Things have gotten a lot better in that he is a sleeping champ and is eating fun solid foods. We have really had a great time this summer with him: camping, a trip to Sun River, and just general frolicking in the backyard. He is starting to get a tooth, though it has just been a persistant bump in his gums for a couple of weeks now. Here are some pictures to update everyone, I know that it has been a long time coming.
Finn loved bouncing and jumping in the doorway. The one he played in at daycare he would literally jump up into the air!
Now it is non-stop smiles.
The Bumbo seat was great, letting Finn sit up and look around while we could garden. This was the first really warm and sunny day of Spring.
This is the first trip in the stroller without the car seat! Such a big boy now.

This is Finn's first solid food. Yummy rice cereal. He took to it like a natural. The boy really likes food, in any form.
This is our trip to Sun River with friends Ryan, Kelly, and Henry. It was beautiful and warm.
Oh, what a cute little family. This is also at Sun River.

Finn and Dad are reading together. Well, Finn is really going to try and eat the magazine in the next shot.

Two Finn-tastic Months!
After four long weeks of some unfortunate baby acne, we have decided to add some pictures of our beautiful son.

We get lots of smiles whenever Finn gets to look at himself in the mirror.
He knows he's a good looking kid!!

GRANDPA!!

Dad likes to play superbaby, Finn isn't sure yet.

Finn loves to play in his baby gym. He has spent lots of time talking to Giraffe and Monkey. It also helps him learn how to grab onto things and figure out depth perception.
Here Aunt Lisa finally gets to meet baby Finn. Aunt Lisa proved to have "the touch" at getting collicky little Finn to sleep.
